HollandMT supplies a complete range of rubber ring gate valves for the dredging industry. The main application is to open and close lines for slurry transport on dredge vessels.
The hydraulically operated gate valves are built of a welded steel construction for a wide range of inner diameters and working pressures.
A polished knife gate is installed made out of stainless steel.
The gate valves are designed to cope with highly abrasive slurries and to open and close smoothly in severe operational environments. Reinforced rubber ring seals are installed for a perfect seal. The rubber seal provides a efficient and free passage of slurry mixture in the pipeline when the slide is open.
The gate valves are designed to be maintenance friendly.
The gate valves are equipped with electrical open/closed indicator.
Special dimensional requirements such as mounting dimensions of the gate valve can be met upon request.
The proven design and technology are widely used in the dredging industry. In the period from 2005 to 2008 more than 200 gatevalves have been installed on large hopper dredgers and cutter dredgers.
