HollandMT supplies 100th gate valve !

With the recent delivery of 16 gate-valves for a newly built trailing suction hopper dredger for WSV (Wasserstraßen- und Schifffahrtsverwaltung) in Hamburg, the mile-stone of supply of the 100^th  gate-valve has been reached!

Since 2009 HollandMT has designed and supplied rubber ring gate-valves for various slurry pumping applications in the dredging industry. The size of the gate-valve range from 200 to 1400 mm pipe-line diameter, pressure rating up to 40 bar.

Main characteristics of HollandMT gate-valves are:

• Robust design: the gate valves are designed to cope with highly abrasive slurries and open/close smoothly in severe operational environments.
• A polished knife-gate, fabricated of stainless steel.
• Reinforced rubber ring seals (with vulcanized steel rings) for perfect sealing. The rubber seal provides an efficient and free passage of slurry mixture in the pipeline when the gate is open.
• Equipped open/close sensors, or optional continuous knife-gate position indication.
• At request, special dimensional requirements or modifications can be incorporated in the gate-valve design.
• Proven performance and built to last.
