HollandMT delivers sand and gravel sieve

For screening of sand and gravel mixture, HollandMT has delivered a sand & gravel sieve box to Barkmeijer shipyard's yardno 347. The screenbox has a sieve area of 18 m2 and is fitted with hydraulic operated selection doors. The sieve bed can also be tilted under various angles. Together  with the loading duct, the sieve-box will be installed on a 3000 m3 trailing suction hopper dredger.

Delivery of new Solar Powerpacks

In January 2019, HollandMT received a purchase order from a renowned dredging contractor for supply of Solar powerpack units.

The uniquely developed and thoroughly tested Solarpack provides a durable, safe, economic and sustainable alternative for bulky, maintenance- and fuel-demanding diesel driven power packs.

The 24 VDC driven solar pack provides hydraulic power to remotely located equipment. The Solarpack is specially suitable for driving hydraulic equipment that is not continuously operated, such as hydraulic operated sand-fill valves in dredging disposal areas. The Solar powerpack is provided with 2 hydraulic pump sets and can simultaneously provide hydraulic power to 2 gate-valves.

The 3 solar powerpack were successfully tested and delivered by end of July.

Project update 3000 TSHD gravel dredger

HollandMT gladly announces that, after some project delays, work has commenced again on completion of the dredging system for the 3000 m3 TSHD.

The 3000 m3 gravel-dredger will be completed by Thecla Bodewes Shipyards/Barkmeijer Shipyards for a Dutch shipowner.

For this project HollandMT will supply the 700 mm dragarm system with underwater dredge-pump (maximum drdeging depth 60 m), but also the foldable screen & laoding duct. 

All equipment will be delivered to- and installed by the Shipyard by end of 2019.
